August has been a part of Sara Aldén's trio since the group was founded in 2019 and has played a key role as pianist, arranger, composer, and producer. In a 2026 publication from Kulturbloggen, Mats Hallberg called him "a musical engine in Sara Aldén's vocal project" and over the course of one EP and two albums, August has written many arrangements and helped shape the charecteristic sound of the group.
